Bow Stave, Hickory 2nds

Hickory Bow Stave 2nds. 

Each stave was hand split to ensure the grain was followed and not compromised.

Description of 2nds: Stave length is between 58" - 68" and 2 - 3" in width. Staves may have snaky grain making a nice character bow.  Some may contain  propeller twist.  I personally build all my bows using the seconds that I sell. A heat gun, bow form, several clamps and a hatchet for forming the rough bow pattern are all thats necessary to correct any flaws in the staves.

Staves were cut in the spring of 2022.  Bark may or may not be present.  Each was treated for insects with an environmentally friendly process.


SELLER’S DISCLAIMER: Because I cannot guarantee a bow builder’s craftsmanship, returns will be at seller’s discretion. All staves are carefully inspected and documented prior to shipping. It is the purchasers responsibility to contact the carrier for damage that occurred during shipping.
RETURN POLICY: Purchaser must email seller within 48 hours of receiving merchandise and state reason for return. Return shipping cost will be the purchasers responsibility and no reimbursements for prior shipping cost shall occur. All returned merchandise must be received in its original condition; unaltered and undamaged.
